Yeah, I was also interested in it because of its html-ish roots but also because it is a unified UI for both editor and runtime. Glad to see they added localization support too now (via data binding it seems), gonna take a second look soon.

For example, someone made an SVG editor using Godot and I was really impressed by the quality of the UI for it. I need to look at the new UnityUI stuff again, but I can't imagine doing this efficiently (perf and devx wise) with UGUI.

I'm curious, what are you using to build the UI of your new tool?

I tried using the new UI stack a while ago and it wasn't ready for prime time just yet (it had no compatibility with the official localization stack). I can't imagine building a UI heavy tool with UGUI.
