🚨Israeli Forces Kill 22 in Southern Lebanon as Occupation Deadline Expires

Israeli forces opened fire on civilians in southern Lebanon on Sunday, killing 22 and wounding another 124, as thousands defied military orders and attempt to return to villages still under Israeli occupation.

ok self-imposed ban on arguing with, criticizing, thinking too much about the spineless liberals this platform seems to cater to. redirecting that energy toward uplifting liberation struggles and the complex thought, theory, and practice that undergird them, if i’m on here at all.

the UAE is one of the primary parties responsible for the bloodshed in sudan—there is a direct call to boycott travel there as a result. not to mention the whole “built by enslaved workers” thing. there’s very little recognition of that on this platform. instead? favorable propaganda left and right.
Today, I visited the House of Wisdom in Sharjah, UAE. A good place to pause and catch my breath. Will post more photos later. For now, books books books, a glorious place of books, memory, and free thought.

Inhale, exhale, 📚😌.

well isn’t this an apt metaphor for the US as a whole. looking at you @democrats.org ♥️
While the Supreme Court’s politics have veered right, the court’s language has gotten surprisingly progressive. Justices now use contractions, casual language, and personal pronouns to make their opinions more accessible to the public.
US Supreme Court is unabashedly liberal − in its writing style
While the Court’s politics have veered right over the past decade, the justices’ prose has shifted left, becoming more colloquial and accessible.

this is rafah—biden’s so-called red line—today. this was only possible because biden continued to send billions of dollars of weaponry—including things like 500-pound bombs (a fact buried in an article linked by the one below)—throughout the genocide.

nothing about trump’s evil redeems biden’s.
January 26, 2025 at 6:37 AM
the responses to this headline are severely misleading. they imply that trump is resuming the bombing of palestine; not so. in fact, the biden “pause” was announced at the same time he resumed sending 500-pound bombs, during the active genocide. this info is in an article quoted in the one below.

🚨 11 US doctors & nurses are being blocked from leaving Gaza.

They hail from TX, CA, FL, CO, OH, and AZ.

Others trying to *enter* Gaza are being blocked too — including a veteran who saved Sen. Duckworth’s life.

Sources say Israel gave no clear reason for denials, beyond referring to “incidents.”

The Israeli government is also preventing another group of health workers from entering the enclave, as thousands of Palestinians seek treatment.

We, the Online left, have received numerous complaints from Mainstream Media for glorifying and memeing the death of a CEO.
I would like to state, we've investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing.
You can move on and demonize the dead now like you do when cops or the IDF use that trick.

forcible redistribution of wealth, repatriation of indigenous lands, collective “ownership” of and *responsibility for* the world’s (incredible) resources = some of the only things that will save us. the question is if humanity has it in us. i know at least some people do, but will it be enough?

we let those responsible for mass death walk freely among us, so long as they commit their crimes with “civility” or out of sight or against groups of people considered disposable or or or
Seen a few folks starting posts with "I'd never wish anybody dead" and I'm like, *really*? You don't even wish one or two would shuffle off, voluntarily or otherwise? I've got a whole list, and by list I mean eleven bound volumes from this year alone.

staggering discursive erasure has accompanied the ongoing genocide. after all, a hefty rhetorical effort is necessary to convince the citizens of empire that it makes sense for them to send billions in weaponry to the state nonstop slaughtering children while their own go hungry.
Senator Tom Cotton (R-AR) has introduced a bill to eliminate federal use of the term "West Bank."

Joins an accompanying House bill introduced in February by Republican Reps. Claudia Tenney (NY), Randy Weber (TX), and Anthony D’Esposito (NY).

Etymology of the day is ‘jargon’, from the Old French ‘jargoun’, meaning the ‘chattering of birds’.

you can tell this app is suppressing palestine content because i liked one corgi pic and it (correctly) intuited my passion for the short spuds, feeding me post after post. but i’ve pretty much exclusively followed palestine accounts to no such result.

the cognitive dissonance of liberals never ceases to astound — one death is always too many, but tens of thousands? never enough.
Wow. You people have no respect for the sanctity of life. Not like the CEO of a healthcare company that rejects >30% of claims.
