Use a qtip soaked in some isopropyl alcohol around the edges of the CPU. Keep repeating and it'll start eating away at the thermal paste and will get further and further between the gap. You can then lightly twist the CPU off. You can also try lightly heating up the heatsink with a hair dryer.
