Not here for the ‘likes’ and certainly not here for Brexiters, Reform nutters or the terminally hard of thinking Trumpers. Tories can do one ‘n’ all.
I guess not. Blair's majority was huge anyway.

Who was standing in your consituency?
February 5, 2026 at 10:47 AM
I’d like him to be alive and compos mentis as everything he has ever touched or created is dismantled and ground into dust. No legacy for him, no inheritance for his spawn.
February 2, 2026 at 10:46 AM
The Rookie. I bloody hope it’s not!

Please remind the President and his lackeys (in his cabinet and in Congress) on a daily basis that the Trump now has blood on his hands.
January 24, 2026 at 6:44 PM
It’s a real breath of fresh air. Liked it a lot!
January 23, 2026 at 6:52 PM
And when is this POS joining Reform Limited?
January 23, 2026 at 5:55 PM
Exactly! It's only unprotected if Denmark pulls out of NATO. Otherwise, the US (among others) already protects Greenland.
January 21, 2026 at 5:00 PM
"I was denied something by an institution based in Norway so I want a piece of Denmark as compensation, which I'll refer to as 'Iceland'." The man is a fool.

Richard Tice behind her.

I think the one good thing to come out of this is that the ex-Tories are more experienced at UK politics than Farage, and will hopefully run rings round him. It might be fun watching Reform self-destruct as dyed-in-the-wool Tories refuse to kowtow to the Snakeoil salesman in Chief.
January 19, 2026 at 9:37 AM
Good. Hope it gets to over 50% and provides all other parties a lovely big stick to beat Reform Ltd with.
January 19, 2026 at 9:32 AM
The hardest decision we ever had to take was to let our little Nina go, but it was the right one. She’ll always be in our hearts and we treasure the time we had with her. Love to you and all the others who’ve lost a pet recently. It hurts because you loved them.
January 18, 2026 at 8:10 PM
Zia fails to mention that Reform Limited is now crawling with the Tories who broke Britain. What a selective memory he has.
January 18, 2026 at 8:04 PM
Fat lot of good his expensive education did him as Chancellor of the Exchequer.
January 12, 2026 at 2:06 PM
Good to know. In that case, the places I mentioned couldn’t claim the precedent had been set.
January 12, 2026 at 2:02 PM
Not sure how it would work in practice because other autonomous regions of EU states would surely also seek to use it as a precedent (I'm thinking Catalonia, Corsica, Basque Country...). Perhaps, Greenland asks to rejoin EU as a region of Denmark and then Denmark allows a ref on independence? Dunno.

The irony is that thin-skinned Jesse would be the first to protest if anyone referred to him as she/her/ or they/them. What a grade A prick.
January 8, 2026 at 9:59 AM
Perfect 😂
January 6, 2026 at 9:36 AM
In that case, go for broke and get us back in as soon as possible.
January 5, 2026 at 1:22 PM
Oh, I appreciate that this was the traditional way of celebrating Christmas. Perhaps if I’d been brought up in a culture where this was the norm, I’d feel differently. Still, it IS nice to be off work until 7Jan.
January 5, 2026 at 1:05 PM
Of course, it doesn't help that there are two public holidays at the beginning of December (6 and 8) that really don't need to be as close to each other and the festive season.
January 5, 2026 at 11:55 AM
Unpopular opinion incoming: I live in Spain and Christmas here drags on from the recently adopted Black Friday to Día de los Reyes Magos (6 Jan). It's torture. Every time you think you can just get on with what you were doing before the public holidays, along comes another one!
January 5, 2026 at 11:53 AM
£12.50 a month, right?
January 4, 2026 at 12:14 PM
Oof, I’m not sure about 1/3 jury duty given the general lack / disinterest in politics among the Great British public. How about 1/3 experts in their field instead?
