In honor of the final distribution season of PA Plants Native! in fall 2025, we have created this video to highlight leaders and volunteers, and celebrate our collective commitment to caring for the Earth.

We are proud to announce that this network has accomplished something truly astonishing - over a quarter of a million trees distributed and planted into Pennsylvania communities! THAT is the power of faith in action.

For the past few years, thousands of individuals and communities across Pennsylvania have mobilized to take advantage of our free native trees and shrubs distributions, planting at synagogues, churches, mosques, environmental centers, private homes, and more!

They also joined our Watershed Circle cohort this Fall along-side St. Peter’s of Phoenixville to pursue further faith-based watershed work in their community.

Meanwhile, the Williams family cultivates an award-winning tree farm at their aptly named Fourteen Acres. Return visits over the span of North Carolina’s four seasons track the life cycle of the forests and act as a metaphor for our protagonists’ progress and their family lives.

This is a documentary which tells the moving story of two Black family forest owners in North Carolina. It tracks their triumphs and struggles historically and in the present day. The Jefferies sisters struggle with their estranged father to clear the overgrown underbrush on their property.
