We’re in the far right’s crosshairs:
Immigrants. LGBTQ people. Women. Neurodivergents. Muslims. People of colour.

They’re not attacking one group, they’re testing how much hate the rest of us will tolerate. 1/3

Maybe that’s what getting older really is: not finding peace, but learning to stand still in the storm and call it weather.

Normal in the most unnormal way possible.
But only sometimes. 2/2

The world hasn’t gone mad.
It’s always been mad.

After 53 years on this planet, I’ve just stopped expecting sense from it.
Some days the madness feels unbearable, other days it feels almost normal, like the chaos has its own strange rhythm. 1/2

Autism isn’t a disorder. It’s a way of being in a world that wasn’t made for us.
We don’t need fixing. We just need to be understood. 2/2

They call it a spectrum, but it’s not a straight line.
Some days I can handle everything, other days a single sound can break me.
It isn’t “mild” or “severe” it’s patterns that shift and collide. www.independent.co.uk/life-style/h... 1/2
Why autism may not be on a ‘spectrum’ after all
The idea of a single autism spectrum, stretching from mild to severe, may be misleading

Attacks on places of worship: synagogues, churches and mosques must be condemned but using it to justify stopping legal protest against a genocide is "just not British"

For clarity below is report on the rise of Islamophobic assaults which surged by 73% in 2024

All I have to give are words, thoughts, and ideas.
But they’re honest ones.
And sometimes, honesty is the only real gift left to give.

If different neurotypes can’t learn to live together,
how can we expect people of different races, genders, and sexualities to?

Equality isn’t just tolerance, it’s understanding.
And understanding starts with listening to those who think differently,
not just those who look or love differently.

We need to meet halfway.
They can learn our clarity.
We can learn their rhythm.
That’s not conformity, it’s understanding.
And maybe then the world will finally make sense for everyone. 3/3

Neurotypicals think we’re the ones who need fixing.
We think they’re the ones who live in chaos and contradiction.
Truth is, we’re both half right.
The problem isn’t difference, it’s distance. 2/3

Sometimes I think we the neurodivergent are the "normal" ones.
We crave honesty, clarity, logic, fairness.
We don’t play games.
The world calls that a disorder. 1/3

When I was at school, I used to think the world had gone mad.
Everyone else seemed to follow rules that made no sense.
I see it clearer now, it wasn’t madness. It was just that my brain ran on logic in a world built on noise.
Still feels that way sometimes.

I don’t want to be cured.
I want to be understood.
The difference is everything.

We don’t need fixing or eradicating.
We need space, patience, and a bit of faith that our way of thinking is worth something.
Autism isn’t a disease. It’s a way of being.
And a world that can’t accept that is the one that’s truly unwell. 3/3
pabloista.bsky.social
So much energy goes into asking why we exist, instead of how we experience the world.
They study our genes, not our exhaustion.
They debate cures, not accommodations.
It’s easier to dissect us than to listen to us. 2/3
pabloista.bsky.social
Society spends far more money trying to find the causes of autism than it does helping autistic people live better lives.
We don’t need to be “understood” in a lab.
We need to be understood as human beings, right here, right now. 1/3

AI didn’t invent greed.
It didn’t underfund hospitals, start wars, or build systems that burn people out.
Humans did that, proudly, stubbornly, and with “common sense.”

The real danger isn’t the rise of machines.
It’s the refusal of people in power to think.
Artificial Intelligence:
Not as great a threat as natural stupidity.

If you care about democracy, equality, or basic decency, keep your eyes on Project 2025.
The danger isn’t just who leads next time.
It’s the plan waiting behind them. 4/4
pabloista.bsky.social
This isn’t “small government.”
It’s authoritarian control dressed up as freedom.

Trump might be the face but the Heritage Foundation is the hand pulling the strings.
They’ve written the playbook for a far right America. 3/4

Project 2025:
Centralise power, replace civil servants with political loyalists.
Shut the Dept of Education, scrap equality rules in schools.
Crush unions & workers’ rights.
Erase protections for women & LGBTQ+ people
Tear up climate policy for big oil
Privatise everything from health to housing 2/4
pabloista.bsky.social
Project 2025 isn’t just about Trump, it’s about control.
It’s a 900 page plan written by the Heritage Foundation and dozens of right wing groups, ready to reshape America if Trump or anyone like him wins again.
What they’re planning should scare everyone who believes in democracy. 1/4
pabloista.bsky.social
Sometimes it feels like the U.S. is one crisis away from its own “Reichstag moment” a shock that those in power could twist into an excuse for repression.
History shows how easily fear turns into control.
That’s why defending democracy before it breaks matters.

In 2001, a terror attack that killed thousands was used to justify the deaths of nearly a million Iraqis and Afghans.
In 2023, a terror attack that killed thousands is being used to justify genocide.
