Retired women's health, the controversial kind. We did good work. Married to a doc, kid is a doc, the rest are regular (wonderful) people. Real estate designer/flipper, but trying to retire from kicking walls down myself. I love art, design, and learning
I just can't with Trump's ego. It's not even been a year.

I was in a medical center staff lounge when Roe became law in 1973. A doc my dad's age was drinking coffee and had seen the horrors of back alley abortions. I said, "What if they take this away?" He said, "Then we hit the streets." I later became an abortion clinic administrator. They took it away.

So many people were coughing in the supermarket in Sarasota, FL today. I grabbed one of the masks in my purse. It did not help matters when the developmentally delayed man, bagging my groceries, aggressively picked his nose. Shower please!

Nothing I use is working well, since they added AI. Seriously, nothing.

My retired psychiatrist husband never lacked for patients.

My son is a physician, he said private equity is buying up palliative care practices. Horrible.

We attended my husband's 50th medical school reunion. The surgeons all retired earlier than the "sitting" docs. Tremors, eyesight issues, muscle pain, etc. My husband can still do an occasional consult in psychiatry. He's 83, has his marbles, and is fit enough for a Zoom call.

All damn day my husband and I said someone is going to get shot and killed. All damn day. I hope this woman survives, but others will not.

I normally don't drink much, but after the last two weeks, I'd add some kind of ETOH.

Where you live or in the US?

I was in shock at what I heard, but have not been able to find an exact quote. But there has been plenty of the same rhetoric since that viewing. And yesterday a Fox host suggested the homeless could be killed by involuntary lethal injection.

I am doubtful that American democracy is sustainable.

We were looking for a news story on TV and happened upon Fox News. We normally don’t watch. Laura Ingraham was closing a segment with something like: We know the Left are the violent group responsible for Kirk’s death, and suggested that we be terminated, or dealt with. 5/many

(He’s at the age for schizophrenia.) If, as some reports say, Robinson followed and admired Fuentes on Groyper, he would have been told that Kirk wasn’t conservative enough. This may have given him enough reason to act.

“It was one of us,” said the Governor of Utah. A young white kid, in a Republican home. He attended a Utah state college for one semester, unlikely to be a hot bed of radical lefty politics.

of when he went to Oslo, with a group of physicians, to collect the Nobel Peace Prize.

But Democrats are being threatened. Some in Washington stated emphatically that Kirk had been killed by someone on the Left. I’m looking at you Stephen Miller. That wasn’t the case. 2/many
