I only took two years of math in high school. I stopped after Algebra 2.

My original degree was Foreign language International Trade. Changed that b/c I couldn't do the bus calculus class.

Whole life has been redirected b/c I chose to avoid any advanced math.

Now for my M.S. in Linguistics:

This has major, "I don't hurt animals; I buy meat at the grocery store" vibes.

Zero knowledge of where the thing comes from. Just none.

My therapist telling me I need to learn to not take myself so seriously while I'm wearing a shirt that says "Live, laugh, toaster bath!" gives me lots of conflicting feelings

I'm looking for any historians specialized in #Illinois or #NativeAmericans ... particularly in Southern Illinois.

I want to know how/if I can confirm if a cave painting I found in the Panther Den Wilderness of Shawnee National forest is valid.

How does one confirm the authenticity of a cave painting?

I took it in Panther Den at Shawnee national Forest

I'm always casually fascinated by how different news organizations prioritize the news.

Fox News think the biggest deal in the world is the "X outage". CNN is all, "Republicans make deal, oh... and Twitter outage"

AP is like, "Y'ALL GONNA BE TAXED ON ELECTRICITY" with a tag at the top "x outage"

The irony of this being a Christmas gift is not lost on me. But I am excited about it, all the same.

Also, Happy Chanukah.

Correlation does not equal causation but I'm betting we'd all be happier if we pooped a little more.

Y'all.

Cherokee is a wild language.

Apparently it's somewhat pitch-based, at least for some words.

And THIS IS THE EXAMPLE THEY GIVE

We can all be terrible people from time-to-time but try to make your goal to never be so terrible as to be the physical basis for how evil will be presented in film.

It will never not bother me that reading the Irish language is like reading a prank between two drunk Irish monks in the 11th century about which letters make what sounds.

Someone on the X app asked what the 5 major theological disputes would be across the tens of thousands of christian denominations.
