#AnneLister died #OTD in 1840 during her trip in Georgia with #AnnWalker. She was 49 years old.

195 years ago, #AnneLister climbed Mt Perdu just to “try the effect of the air at so great an elevation”. This would be her highest #summit, surpassing even her ascent of Vignemale!
