40s gaymer, living in UT, abDL. Let me stress the emphasis on the DL. You’ll find me padded when I can for fun and stress management.
Worse, I’ve been to Walmart.

To be clear, I don’t support the use of AI art. Nothing I’ve seen indicates that it’s nothing more than stolen ideas.

At best, it’s a well trained dog. It still requires actual intelligence directing it. I’m unconvinced that it will really replace anyone yet, perhaps change the flow of work. If it was going to make the changes promised, it would have already happened.

My writing is informative, and splits between recommendations or decisions. AI can help me find the words and phrases I want to say but won’t come to mind, likely due to ADHD and age. Ultimately it’s about me ensuring that it’s what I was trying to say. “AI” can’t that for me, it’s only a tool.

My experience is limited to using it for writing. I effectively use it as a super thesaurus, but it’s always AFTER I’ve written what I want to say, it might help make my writing better…? But it doesn’t save me time, and it can’t do the work on its own. Still requires me checking everything.
