The crowd was rampant with that Luton win, but the team soon quashed that hope & expectation with more slow pedestrian football.
Team talk was simple, keep the crowd going and get out of the blocks quick - the crowd will take you over the line. Nah, he must have said the usual ‘stay calm, no rush’

It is. I’ve been there, semi final defeat to Arsenal at Old Trafford, it was spine tingling, but also sounding quite defeatist.
When we finally lifted the cup in Cardiff, it seemed a defining moment of success for once, and the song seemed to die slowly from that day.
