Street Fighter 6 is such a weirdly instinctive game. It demands so much focus and attention from your mental stack that while playing it it's difficult to exist anywhere other than in the moment, just reacting to what happens during the match at this very second.

A very enjoyable and underrated element of playing Elena is the way her moves (from normals to command normals to specials) look and feel like they flow seamlessly into each other. It's sort of evocative of real life capoeira and the way the body is in constant, fluid motion while practicing.

Probably more gimmicky than anything else, but worth keeping in the backpocket. Finishing a juggle in the corner with MK DP allows for a QCF+LP > HK overheard that will go over projectile level 1's on wakeup. It's not actually meaty so if the opponent wakes up with buttons it will lose.

Great punish counter in the corner, when resources are available. 60% with level 3, 63% with CA.

The successive cHP's need to be delayed slightly to juggle properly.

Fatal Fury added a Street Fighter 6-esque frame meter display to training mode (although it's more visually informative than SF6's). Pretty cool.

That's so interesting. This guy did a wakeup Raging Demon around the 00:17 mark and I didn't even realize it. When I saw the cloud of smoke I assumed he was trying to teleport or something. I didn't notice until near the end of the match that it used up all his super meter, then I did a double take.

I don't know what it is about shimmying people as Elena that makes me feel like a special type of asshole. It's a normal shimmy but it feels weirdly dirty.

Oh, and one thing I forgot to mention. Another way to set up a meaty overhead. After a +39 situation, whiff sLK as a frame kill.

Finally, she can roll under opponents by doing the MKxxHK target combo and canceling into QCB+KK, then canceling that into an empty roll. The roll can be continued in the opposite direction to meaty the opponent with F+LK, or it can be followed by a DR MP (which will also hit meaty).

Second, any sequence that leaves her +42 (e.g., QCB+PP > F+P, QCB+MK near the corner) can be followed up with QCF+HP and it will leave her +4. She is left in throw range even midscreen, in the case of QCB+PP > F+P.
