I used to live there and had overall positive interactions, but sometimes going online I can still see microaggressions or blatant racism in some places :') it's very disheartening, even if I understand their frustrations with certain things. I only wish that we could all be kinder to one another

I understand the feeling :( certain incidents make me feel like SEAsians have to deal with discrimination a lot lately. While politics / the overtourism issue in Japan is a nuanced discussion, and there are plenty of kind people in the country, online spaces like twt sadly amplify the worst voices

It's only part of the whole thing obviously but it's nice to get texts from the Heirs ;; especially after everything...
