To mark the start of #nationallibraryweek here's my current library loan pile! Decided to get to reading authors I've been meaning to try, Kingfisher, Solomon, Jenkins-Reid, and Cosby, which makes up a decent chuck of this pile.

I was all over We Pretty Pieces of Flesh hearing it was a coming-of-age in north of UK.
What I didn't know was me and the main protagonist spelt their name in the more uncommon Rachael way, we're off the same school age, and both from Yorkshire. This reading experience is a real trip.

Main March highlights have been getting into horror and picking up some sci-fi for a change. Really happy to see so many great female writers in these genres these days. Quarter of the way into the year and still no DNFs. What is this madness.

Eeek, so excited about the library holds I picked up today. Heard fantastic things about Raising Hare and hoping to get my coming-of-age in the 90s in northern England fix with We Pretty Pieces of Flesh.
