This year, more than 2,000 hours of volunteer activities across 55 countries were delivered! 🤯

To commemorate these achievements, 253 volunteer digital badges were issued to 175 active volunteers in 2025!

⚡ New version of #rgbif has just been released to CRAN!

Version 3.8.2 new features:
🔹occ_download_doi() accepts a GBIF download DOI and returns the download key. occ_download() now supports download via institutionKey.
