The current idea that chatbots are "AI" and claims that computers can now truly think is a reflection of the imbalance between rapid technological progress and the widespread lack of scientific literacy. In the past, people fervently believed in demons and UFOs. Today, it's AI.

Vi har veldig lenge hatt maskinlæring (ML).

En del av ML har litt kalt KI. Så kom Transformer og KI ble 💫KI💫 og så ble 💫KI💫 synonymt med generativ KI og så begynte man å kalle all ML for 💫KI💫 fordi det var hipt og kult

...og nå tror folk at ML og KI er generativ KI.

“AI” was going to let teenagers crash the power grid from their bedrooms. Reality check: it hasn’t turned novices into cyber gods, nor toppled infrastructure. It just makes skilled hackers a bit quicker. There is no such thing as AI, but chatbots aren’t useless.
