But yeah, Trump renaming it to the Gulf of America is extremely ridiculous. He’s definitely trying to see just how far he can push any boundary.

Unfortunately, they didn’t have much of a choice because of policy. The names for things appear differently for every country depending on what the their governments call them. If they made an exception, they’d have to change their whole policy, which would likely upset a lot of governments.
