Many students did not feel the same way. They said, "He's just whining about his life," and I said, "You whine all the time!!!" They said it was TOO relatable. I've only ever read the book as an adult. I hope they revisit Holden one day and see how things change.

Last year, I had to implement a rule/boundary that I would ONLY grade late work on a specified day after school. This year, it's Thursday because I am staying late for detention anyway. It puts responsibility on both the students and myself. Without this boundary I was DROWNING.

I guess I'm also confused about how the app works still as well 😭
