This has been the most bizarre film i've watched. There wasn't necessarily any dull moments either. Titane is not necessarily a movie i'd pick on my own, but glad to watch a movie that's different. #BSUENG490

least likely rec: Freshwater or specifically Snake. Freshwater was a little hard for me to fully understand and wrap my head around. Snake just really grossed me out

"The young woman is addressed as a potential subject of great 'capacity'." (624) This line can really be taken different ways when standing alone. In this context it's supposed to be empowering, but if taken alone it can be twisted just like most things discussed in this theory. #BSUENG490

Truthfully I've never really thought of the concept of gender a whole lot more than the basic surface level, so while reading Butler's theory I was kind of all over the place. At the same time I thought the text was very interesting because it's not something I've read about or looked at. #BSUENG490

The beginning of this book is very shocking and kind of just took me by surprise. My jaw was definitely on the floor several times. Definitely excited to read more. #BSUENG490
