Say hello to Oreo, she is one of our neighbors goats and she will be with us for a short while in an effort to keep the brambles down.
And I’m learning things! Goats have really funny 💩 for example. I’m co side g collecting it to use it as manure. It’s supposed to be good, no? We’ll see.

We have been ‘fighting’ the gouvernement from taking our land amongst 500 hectares in our little village. We think we succeeded as a group to stop the process. So hopefully more garden/farm updates from me soon. It has been an intensive 1,5 month with papers, public reunions and enquêtes. 😒

Has anyone found a good gardening or veg farming starterkit? This sewing community one by @courtniewolfgang.bsky.social has been great!

And then I found a little bit of an old terrace under 30 years of soil build-up. I am looking for inspiration of what more to plant in between these cypresses..?! I planted an Euphorbia and I crawling thyme against the newly discovered paving.

When your garden hasn’t been kept up since the early ninetees and you have to put 40 year old cypresses back into shape. These pictures are how 1. we got the place, 2. then what we did this summer to clear it up a bit more and 3. today I’m putting the cypresses back into a fairly right position.
