Played my first game of Pirate Borg over the weekend. It was a lot of fun. I rolled up a character that was basically a conquistador. Rolled well right through until at the end we were rolling for loot then I got a black spot and 1 day to lift the curse. Better get that backup character ready 😂

I spent some of this past weekend attempting to paint my first ever Star Wars Legion minis. The Luke Skywalker Operative Expansion. I picked it up some time ago and decided to make a dent in the gray pile of shame of various minis I have collected over the last while.

I am very familiar with that problem. I have to try to do the same soon. I have time off soon and some of that time is being dedicated to making more space for new builds.

That would be an overly excessive fine but you're probably right. Maybe they would accept the heads of those chasing you instead.

Oh big time I suspect. I am flying over so the limited space should limit the spending or that was the case but I am staying with a friend in Glasgow and I'll be visiting again later in the month but going by ferry so I can bring a bigger haul back then

That's really cool, I really need to play it at some point. I am definitely going to try and get them. I am giving serious thought to ordering them shortly. Depending on how much I spend at Tabletop Scotland I might order them afterwards.

That is a coincidence as I actually pulled out the hardcopy I have of 13th Age today. I am definitely going to get the second edition as I never got to play the first edition. I have the Draw Steel pdfs but need to sit down and read them. I keep hearing good things about it.

I enjoyed it more than I expected too. Definitely one where when I actually have free time where I will sit down and read the entire thing. I only have the pdf at the moment but will definitely be getting the hard copy.

That is totally understandable I would forget too in that case 😁

I do recommend it. It is fun and you can flavour some of the things the way you want and it can be crunchy enough to scratch that itch. Which definitely needed to be scratched after playing some Dungeon World. That has to done too but he needs to throw you some boost dice now after that sacrifice 😁
