Oh my god this is stupid. How many people died from their first "cardiovascular event" that could have been saved if they'd been on GLP-1s? I can tell you at least one from very personal experience.

Documenting these goals for 2026 so I have accountability:
- Buy a home
- Continue learning how to be a better photographer
- Keep lifting heavy things and putting them down
- Start playing some kind of recreational sport

Assuming bluesky is still around in 12 months, let's see how I go!

I've been through this and having spoken to many other people who have lost their spouses, I truly believe there is no "right" way to grieve.

Shout out to Erika for proving there is a wrong way, though.

Randall did a couple of comics about his partner having cancer, back in the very early days. I hadn’t thought about it for a while but I’m glad for them, there really is no greater privilege than growing old.

Actual, actual answers: whether or not they managed to buy a house before they became unaffordable. Whether or not boomers think they're still in their 20s. Which protest they attend in Melbourne on a Saturday.

In the first term I’d believe that, but the current executive branch is stacked so deeply with unqualified cronies that I reckon at least one of them would have access to that info if it existed.
