...and I feel like with even computers becoming easier and easier to use, it's okay to want to keep a little bit of complexity. Strengthens the spirit, and it's not like I mind troubleshooting them constantly so long as they're also learning. Which they already are!

I mean, I grew up on people telling me to double click on an EXE file, to use C:\path\t\file and the Windows DE, as if it was the only way of doing things. It's sort of exciting to know that as long as I can make it fun for them, they'll grow up with TTYs as, at worst, normal rather than befuddling.
