We were poor again, referee was even worse. Probably buys Frank some time that players did some really stupid stuff and the referee gives him some excuses for losing.

I think that John Brooks might've saved Thomas Frank's job there.

Stupid from Romero but wish Neville would fuck off.

The red card and the lack of foul for the second Liverpool goal are contentious and debatable. The rest of the refereeing has been abysmal.

This ref is fucking appalling. I’m pretty sure Van Dijk did that to one of our players a couple of seasons ago and got nothing for it. Stupid tackle but never a red.

That was an irredeemably bad half. Thought we might press in this shape like against PSG, but sitting that deep with no way of passing it through the lines or initiating a counter attack is asking for trouble. This Spurs performance is making Pulis’ Stoke look like peak Pep Barcelona.

Downsides, awful game against an awful team. Upsides, seeing the disappointment on the faces of the awful team and their fans after their time wasting didn’t work.

Get in

When it gets to 75 minutes onwards they might as well shake hands because there’s no way Wolves are letting any football happen from then until the end of the game and the refs always buy it. We’ve been poor particularly second half but hate these types of games so much.

Hate Wolves so much, every year they stink up the place and score a jammy goal, then dive, feign injury and try and waste as much time as possible.

Funny half that, Spurs really sloppy for a chunk of it but still dominated most of the half and had enough chances to be ahead despite not being that great. Would have loved Bergvall’s volley to go in.

Ref determined to try and help West Ham here
September 13, 2025 at 5:42 PM
Absolute bullshit. When that happened against us it was weak defending but somehow that’s a foul for West Ham?

Spurs cannot resist losing before an international break. Love maximising the time for discontent.

Johnson again ole ole. Great win at the Etihad and thoroughly deserved. Made all the better by watching at the pub with an Arsenal fan.#COYS

I’m a maroon who knows nothing about football but the Eze and MGW’s deals collapsing feels frustrating, embarrassing, and confusing. People should be encouraged to express that.

On the other hand, up the Spurs!

Surely if you’re not upset about us missing out on Eze you must be frustrated at us wasting lots of time negotiating for him? I just don’t see a way to spin this window as being in any way positive at this stage. Those in charge bear responsibility - they have agency in the outcome of our transfers.

I find that I'm less bothered about the player, much as I like him, and more about the symbolism and the way that Levy has made us a laughing stock yet again.
