I live all over, but Texas and SF feel like home. Sometimes DC. My superpower is I see so many awesome people, and I do my best to call them out. Mr. Rogers is my hero. And Ted Lasso.

I also like programming, using AI for good, and macroeconomics. He/him
Giving up sovereign control of your currency is a huge mistake… low interest rates on your massive debt just kick the can.

I want executive power ratcheted back. But it won’t until things go horribly wrong.

This was one of The Onion’s best articles: theonion.com/departing-ob...

And was also utterly terrifying.

Netflix only has the first season. But it gets so much more interesting in later seasons.

We had “Square One.“ This is two orders of magnitude better.

In infinite slop, there are still some real gems out there.

All parents need to discover the wonder of Numberblocks. My kindergarten son, yesterday:

”Dad, I know you’re 45… that’s not a square… but you are two squares, 9 and 36. So that’s good. Oh, you’re also “super special secret step squad” (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9)

Comedians can end up being very effective leaders. Zelenskyy is not an outlier.

We are going to be fighting shit like this for a long time.

This was a great article of what we are now up against: www.epsilontheory.com/anatomy-of-a...
Anatomy of a Narrative Virus - How a story spreads
The story of how a date, an age, a ham radio operator, an big anonymous account, the DHS press secretary, and an AI changed reality for millions.

I wish profplum99 would come here eventually. His writings are always thought provoking and great reads.

Also, listening to him and Harley banter is the closest thing I’ve found to a reincarnation of “Car Talk”

have the inhaler nearby. Even if you didn’t think you were asthmatic. It helps.

As a species, we are often at our best when times are hardest.

I do not want what I fear is coming in the next few years, but I do think many more will recommit to serving the common good.
