Since January 20th we’ve just been on the defensive. We need a strong offense and fast. It must come from the American people. We are the ones holding the purse strings and the power but we need a leader to mobilize an offense. Any thoughts, comments or suggestions.

I stand with Ukraine

I’m out of the country so I might be behind in the news, but I wanna know why there aren’t emergency meetings in Congress right now. I hate to use this word and I never thought I would, but are we experiencing a coup? Sure looks like it.

How I use Bluesky is yet not clear. Im not sure posting photos is the answer. Posting on Instagram opened my world to many new international photographers who’ve become friends. Not giving that up even though it’s a Meta thing. My next trip was all developed through IG contacts as was the last.

I’m not quite sure what I’m doing here yet on Bluesky. I post my photography on FB, Instagram and Flickr. Not sure I need another platform for photography unless I see more photographers joining. What are others thinking? How long will it take to get a critical mass on Bluesky?

Photographing people is what I enjoy, especially when I travel. This family sits on the roof of their small home in the Tirap region of Arunachal Pradesh which just opened up to the outside world two years ago. It seems only photographers visit.

I’m considering a photography trip to northern Vietnam in late fall 2025. I’m looking for a local private and experienced guide who will organize a 2person photography trip in consultation with me. Does anyone have any leads or any information to share with me.
