I can’t take credit for this one, but I will say, the yellow birds are pretty cool.
A yellow bird sits on a feeder and the coloring around its eyes makes it look like it’s wearing sunglasses.

Adorable! I love the pesky!

But c’mon, 2016 was w/in the past decade. That’s not an eternity, (even if it feels like it in our everyday lives). Why does every article fixate on that? It’s the tightest, toughest division in MLB. There will be stretches w/out a DLS title.

Jays if it can’t be Rays!💙⚾️

Oh, yes, 2008 was a good playoff year. It was the first year the Rays went to the WS. They only won Game 2 of 5 v the Phillies, tho.

I was there. 💙

Any chance that he’s trying to play it close to the vest in case the 25th Amendment becomes a thing and he’s vying for the big chair?

Our clinic work is paused due to eye-watering debt. Then this young girl came in with a broken leg. What could we do? How can we say no? 💔

No credit lines left, no idea how we’ll pay, but we took her in. Please keep her and us in your prayers. I’m very worried 🙏🐾

At some point in my history, I accidentally put three suspects in the envelope, but no weapon or room. My children issued a lifetime ban against me that is still in full effect.

Earlier this year I borrowed Matthew Perry’s autobiography from LibbyApp.com from my public library. It was read by the author, and he talked about how much he wanted to live. Kind of broke me up.

I recently finished The Third Gilmore Girl, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Delightful!

Thank you! My younger son told me this week that his older brother was "old and boring." I asked what that made me and he said, "Old."

But at least I'm not boring. 🤷‍♀️

Welcome to all the new #WriteStuff voices tonight, and all the voices who are with me year over year. And one final sentence from my favorite poem, “Be yourself.”

#WriteStuff A6: Having my person brings me a shit ton of joy, and a lot of other emotions. Having a person is intense.
A smaller clay figure is hugging a larger clay figure, and both are smiling. The text reads, When your weird sould finds another weird soul and you're just two weird little souls having fun on this earth together."

#WriteStuff A5: I would want to be a bird. When I was a kid, I could fly in my dreams. It was pretty fabulous, and I still remember how it felt. I recently experienced a massive migration firsthand, and my answer emphatically remains unchanged.

#WriteStuff A4: For my entire adulthood until the last decade, my plan was to raise my kids. I made no plans for myself, so my plans are still up in the air. I do have two or three novels up my sleeves.

#WriteStuff A3: Seeing all fifty states – and everything I saw on my way to number fifty. You’d think my greatest writing achievement is my blog about all 50 states, but it’s actually those four copyrights I hold on my novels.

I only lived there for a year and a half during college. I don't hail from there.

I do have three blog posts about my three semesters there. I was not by best self. #WriteStuff
