In the middle of his moving, Skye showed up unannounced and it made Jasper irritated. She started wtih all the fated mates talk again and he wasn't in the mood for that.

But the moment she touched his hand, he felt that compel he felt when they first met. There's only Skye and no one else.

She's going to her parents to give him time to gather his things. She hopes when she comes back he won't be here.

Jasper is getting desperate to where this conversation is leading... so he kissed her. But she's only disgusted by him. She pushed him away.

She stomped towards him and slapped him in the face. The sound echoing in the kitchen. Jasper definitely didn't expect her to have such a reaction, how that sweet Freya could've been so fierce like that?

She was so mad at him that she didn't know what to say. Jasper wanted to explain.

He didn't count on Freya listening to him behind the door. She couldn't hear what the other person was saying, but you don't need to be genius to figure out what's this about.

Jasper kept getting a call from Skye. She was desperate because he's her fated mate. He doesn't believe that, he didn't actually see her as a wolf, so he just thinks he made a mistake, well, maybe twice... with her.

He loves Freya and he doesn't want to mess this up even more that it already is.
