Today I was running errands and Train's cover of Umbrella came on. When he started singing "It's raining raining," it started to rain. Hours later, Train's song Idaho comes on. As he sings the first line, "Texas are you my friend," I look at the car ahead and to the left side of me. Texas plates.

Good Samaritans helped me get my car unstuck from snow on a snowy twisty windy road twice and probably saved my life. I am so greatful for these wonderful people.

My company was bought by a big corporation, downsizing and people fleeing for have left us understaffed. We've been in the dark because new company refuses to update us. It's been bleak and chaotic and it's no wonder someone essential just left. I want out of this stress too. Who needs an editor?
