if you're still financially supporting that IP by buying merch, watching films, hyping up audiobook rerecords/tv series etc, you are actively funding attacks on trans rights in the UK. There's no way around that.

now the antagonist (Catholic guilt - Róisíns ex - who keeps killing random girls who look like the woman Róisín left her for to upset her, then kidnaps her new girlfriend and locks her in Paris catacombs, hoping she'll kill loads of people), that's at least behaviour you could reasonably call awful.

been about a year since I read it but yea. Theres drama but it's not from them being awful so much as it is then being kinda incompatible people enclosed in a tight space with each other for several months, so having the sort of arguments you would in that situation.

god, I think I saw this post - about A Long Time Dead by Samara Breger? wouldn't even call the MCs awful. One has tons of Catholic guilt and is emotionally closed off and controlling, and the other is a newborn vampire who was a hedonist when human.
