Just over 2 weeks post surgery and first week back at work.
And holy heck, I started writing again this week.
Here's hoping I can keep this up, and maybe finish a freaking book this year.

At Melbourne Zoo with my Aunt Laura and we'd BYOed lunch, she'd packer mayo for our lunch, Geekling hates mayo.. so said we were having Travel Butter.

Half my google search history is checking spelling and definition of words
Last night I had to change a word from isolate to oscillate, and a quick check that I had the right meaning.

Somehow managed to catch it in action last night.

Spent an amazing day exploring the Botanical gardens with Geekling today.
It's been so long since I've been there, and I forgot how freaking amazing it is <3

Yesterday was the 20th anniversary of my Mum's passing, and last night I dreamt that Mr Geek brought the house that Mum, my sister, and I were living in when Mum died, so that we can raise our family there. Was such a comforting dream.

Last night read Making A Baby by Rachel Greener to Geekling.
Had a discussion about parts of the book, and linked back to our family by explaining and adding in bits from our lives.
He helped read with me as well, and tonight we're going over the glossary together 🌈🌈📚
