Hi! I'm PangaeaQuest, I am but a humble Internet user. I attempt to make programs. (Playing Ace Attorney and Splatoon 3)
Exactly, but there's obviously going to be privacy concerns among the people of the government, which are perfectly valid in this day and age. People will think that their every move is being tracked, and in a way, they're right

Similar to what is seen in the likes of North Korea, but that is a proven horrible idea. As I said, there's no true way to enforce content restrictions.

In the case of children, it should be the legal responsibility of parents to keep their children's online activity in check (2/2)

Browsers, social media, the likes. As for enforcement, well, they're already enforcing OSA, no? (Poorly, sure, but still).

The thing is, people will always find a way around this type of stuff. The only true way to prevent all these issues is for a jurisdiction to make their own network (1/2)

It's a complicated topic, and there's no one perfect solution for these problems, not with the likes of the internet

The fundamental idea of OSA isn't a bad one, but the concerns around it are perfectly valid. It's a privacy nightmare, especially since governments seem to love contracting these services out to third parties instead of doing it themselves and ensuring security and not using it for tracking

Obviously, what you're saying is right, young children shouldn't have access to that kind of content. As for the solution, well, a good start would be enforcing parental controls, which many parents ignore, opting to just give their children free reign of the internet

I'm gonna be honest, I don't have one, I could say to just... have requirements for offices to be up with the times, but we both know requirements like that mean nothing and are unfortunately unenforceable

It's amazing what tech illiterate lawmakers can do without considering all the consequences

I am not that hyped about the holidays, but I do hope that some people just happen to look up to the 3rd floor of my dorm building while walking outside and just see the lights.

Am attempting to spark a reaction from people
