Difficult to argue with a lot of this. I watched all the games, the tactical flaws were obvious and clear we had been worked out. It took too long for Ange to change tact when obvious the squad wasn’t up to his style with all the injuries. I would have personally given him an opportunity to fix it.

Keen for the pod to discuss this. Should we be worried about his style and the need to adapt for a different kind of squad, and expectation? Should we be worried about his lack of experience on managing a squad across Europe and domestic competitions, again with higher expectations than BFC?

Love your stuff Windy but I don’t get this speculative logic. The ‘blind spot’ argument is based on you watching a player in game scenarios a few times vs a manager and staff who work day in day out with players. The obvious and logical answer is that he is not ready, not a conspiracy against him.
