yeah ICE are literally doing the cartel executions that they claim they're "totally preventing" by mass deportations, they suck ass. all i was saying is the medieval law system was literally "whatever a noble says happens" unless the accused was also a noble and not smth to defend or glorify

-deal, it was a pretty disgraceful thing nobody wanted to do which typically meant lords would force prisoners to become their executioner under threat of, you guessed it, execution if they didnt. the middle ages are not a time to be glorifying lmao. ICE sucks but executioners werent 'honorable'.

yurp. and guess what, there wasn't specialized roles for each one, executioners were forced to do both. and hanging wasnt the modern neck-snapping form, they literally suffocated you. and yeah they were like 'the untouchables', thats part of my point? being an executioner wasnt this 'humane' polite-

no they didn't lmao. a lot of medieval law was making an example of the few criminals they could catch to try to stop others, they were often themselves former criminals being forced by their lord to perform brutal acts upon political enemies and lesser criminals. please know your history twin
