No, she lost because 1) Muskrat and GOP cheating, and 2) stupid people staying home or wasting a vote on some 3rd party loser. If #2 hadn't been a factor it could have been enough to overcome #1.

My mom had what is considered a "mild" case about 9 years ago. She was in literal tears from both pain and exhaustion from no sleep because of said pain. That shit scares me bc I had pox SUPER bad when I was 10. I want that damn vaccine NOW!

JFC. I have a shitload of those. Thank fuck my migraines have diminished as I've aged or I'd probably have to delete myself. They used to be so bad I'd spend 3 days huddled in bed in the dark with ice packs gobbling painkillers like candy. I still kinda do this but not nearly as often as I used to.
