I love working #ConceptArt. Re-designing things or exploring completely new ideas from scratch. The iteration process of it. Trying to explore an idea while tying to make it workable withing the art direction & style constraints.
It scratches the creativity & problem solving itch at the same time.

GW planed to make FemSM/Custodes, but Trump saved 40k by being elected! It showed the unpopularity of woke, thus GW labeled them men & hoped we'd not notice!

I once before tried to run Tomb of Annihilation. I was burnt out at the time and it and it was a bit lackluster so I hung up my DM clogs for a year or so.
Now I am revisiting it, but trying to put in the prep work it deserves. And as a sand box with a tonn of NPC and locations, its taking its time.

He is also aware that both authors of the book, wrote that it does not remove them.
He lies to his followers, knowing the reality of the situation because he knows they wont interrogate it.
Its why its so deeply stupid, and make me feel stupid for feeling the need to point out the fictions.
Both Authors of 'The ultimate guide' confirm Fem-Custoes remain canon.

I think its anywhere you can cultivate a large following of the faithful, so that anyone who points out the fictions can be dogpiled and lost in the noise.

First Wargame with proper minis was 2nd edition 40k (although I had interest in 40k prior it was the first edition I played)
Wargame-ish (skirmish, cardboard minis) was I believe Battledroids... but that getting into shaky memory territory of 35-40ish years ago.

Nerds and wargammers often get categorized as childish. Of being socially ill adjusted. And this whole display cements it. The threats, the all caps screaming and child like denial of demonstrable reality, all because they don't like it... its so deeply embarrassing, so cringe inducing.
