Keir Starmer should condemn Trump’s illegal action in Venezuela.

Maduro is a brutal and illegitimate dictator, but unlawful attacks like this make us all less safe.

Trump is giving a green light to the likes of Putin and Xi to attack other countries with impunity.

It’s not about drugs. If it was, Trump wouldn’t have pardoned one of the largest narco traffickers in the world last month.

It’s about oil and regime change.

And they need a trial now to pretend that it isn’t. Especially to distract from his sinking under Epstein and skyrocketing healthcare costs.

"How Europe and “the west” responds to Trump now and the actions that governments take downstream from that is going to set the path for 2026. Because Trump isn’t just a rogue, out-of-control president, America is a rogue state. And the longer we fail to acknowledge that, the more danger we are in."
NEW: A mass propaganda event is about to engulf the US news cycle and what, if anything, survives it will be a lesson for our times.

But it’s what the rest of the world does now that’s key. When someone tells you who they are, believe them.

The United States can only begin war with another country through a declaration of Congress. The President’s actions are unjustified and unconstitutional. Military attacks upon Venezuela and the loss of life and property must end immediately.

81 years ago, America's bravest generation stormed the beaches of Normandy in hopes of freeing Europe from the clutches of a brutal authoritarian.

Today, we face authoritarianism on our shores. We owe it to ourselves, our country, and that great generation to fight for freedom here at home.

Journalism is increasingly out of touch with public opinion.

According to YouGov 66% of the public support a closer relationship with Europe and (53%) are in favour of undoing #Brexit altogether.

Remember when newspapers cared about the will of the people?
