She’s absolutely correct, though. The energy and water costs are highly dependent on the climate, water availability, and condition of the grid.

We can’t shove AI back in the box, but doing what we can to reduce impact and plan for sustainability and scalability is key if we want to survive.

ResistBot always reminds me that if my letters are too mean, they won’t be read and counted.

But that first draft? That’s just for me 😌

Ah, yes. The noble founding ideals of a company that branded itself after Saruman’s scrying stones which slowly corrupted him as he used them for spying, manipulation, and deceit across Middle Earth? That Palantir?

I, for one, am shocked. SHOCKED.

Going through clothes to donate, and pleased to report this Christmas t-shirt has aged remarkably well 😂

Very sad to hear of the passing of Andrea Gibson, whose poetry and courage of the heart inspired me deeply.

Go in peace.

It’s so wild watching Conservatives discover art is and has always been political. So above, so below.

The creators of Superman are literally the children of Jewish immigrants who fled Europe in the 1930’s.

(They don’t call him the Uber Mensch for nothing.)

So much finding out in store for *so* many people.

My guy, we are five months into this administration.

Germany is shown in its 1937 borders. Camps color-coded by date of establishment as a main camp: blue for 1933–1937, gray for 1938–1939, red for 1940–1941, green for 1942, yellow for 1943–1944.

This isn’t even registering internment camps.

No,YOU haven’t comprehended it yet. It absolutely enables fascism.

This precedent puts immigrants, the poor, and people of color in harm’s way because they can’t afford years of court litigation. That’s the end goal.

Just learned about this AI Agent Creator from a client, and I'm kinda disgusted they'd use the magic of Stardew Valley against us this way. Techno-capitalism isn't cute.

Palantir ripped the name from LotR’s evil crystal balls Saruman uses for surveillance. Subtle.

Seems about right.

I'm not going to lie to you. Seeing billionaires losing billions every day is *chef's kiss* 😌

As a scholar of Religion, that’s an excellent question. I don’t think some of these conservatives understood the assignment…

This is a reminder to take a break. Take a moment to appreciate the beauty of this cold, snowy afternoon and have some tea.

The horrors will still be there when you return.

One of the things I’m leaning into during this crisis is living every moment fully.

If any moment could be our last, I want to go knowing I loved my people and my life dearly.

We really need to just start breaking this puppy out every time Musk egregiously breaks the law.

It’s called intersectionality, and by the way, Black women are the champions of it.

There are some really incredible books and dialogues between minority groups discussing how important intersectionality is, and why their individual movements would’ve could’ve should’ve showed up for each other.

There are already so many traditional mythic creatures that like to terrorize children into behaving. Krampus, obviously, but my favorite remains Iceland’s Yule Cat, who eats kids who refuse to wear their Christmas sweaters.
