Part-time ephemera and book dealer. Full-time cat-dad. Omniphile sad that I won't live long enough to learn everything.
I'm shocked this was aired on TV in 1966. They have a line that is essentially, "some of those who work the forces are the same that burn crosses."

It's brutally honest and unfortunately still way too relevant.

One of my favorite pieces of whimsical #ephemera, acquired from the estate of Kenny Roberts, is this handmade (and hand-edited) poster for a music festival in central MA, probably in the late 70s or early 80s.

Two Kenny Loggins and one Jim Messina in one week might seem to be a trend, but it happened organically.

Just a heads up. If you follow me, I will look at your profile. If you're just a cleavage pic with reposts and no replies, I'm not gonna follow you back. I respond to human interaction, not titillation and parroting.

This is Harley. He's about 17 years old. We've been together for more than 16 of them. He's pulled me through some dark times by the simple method of loving and needing me. He's my best friend and I never want to disappoint him.

In our "The More Things Change..." department, I found this in "Rollicking Rhymes of Old and New Times" by N.W. Bingham, illustrated by J.A. Jameson. It was published in 1906. (sigh) Same old same old....

Like so much of my ephemera, I can't remember where I got this WWI German POW letter, but I'm glad I did.

There aren't many "celebrities" I really feel close to, especially as where I haven't met a one of them, but damn if Todd's passing hasn't left a hole somewhere in my soul.

Two old friends. I've been visiting this Eastern White Pine & Shagbark Hickory on a friend's farm for over 20 years now. I can't explain why their continued existence and growth is comforting to me, but it is. Everything is ephemeral but some things really take their time with it.
