In the case of Homelander hes as bad as Adrian Veidt from Watchmen. Though Veidt never was oppressed and always had money his mindset aligned with Lex Luthor and Thanos thinking his plans were for the greater good. Theres nothing ever good about wiping out the planet of billions of people.

In a way I kinda get directing the anger at those who did you wrong or watched as you suffered and did nothing i think its justified. However, at the same time when you attack and stomp down on those people who are innocent and didnt know of your problems before you yourself become the villain.
