6/8 But there should be a background check and license showing you're in good standing. You buy a house and the bank checks to make sure you can afford it. You buy a car, same thing and you have to have a license showing you can handle it. and so on.

5/8 Now my rant. I never was a total pro-gun person. The founding fathers did not imagine the types and styles of weapons we have today. I believe their idea was for protection from animals, bandits and a British government the just overthrew. If you want guns, fine, have as many as you want.

3/8 Finally, the principal and a police officer showed up, proved who they were by showing the officer's badge under the door and this allowed the kids to turn on the lights and contact their parents. All are well and no weapons were found.

2/8 For over two hours she and two friends hugged and cried in the dark without their phones on as they were trained to turn them off and wait quietly in the dark. She could not call or text anyone.

Yesterday I found out that my 13-year granddaughter in New Orleans spend two hours in school lockdown because of a report of weapons in her school. She was outside when the alarms went off, so she grabbed a friend and ran into an art room and locked it. 1/8

I'm not panic buying like people did dung the pandemic but I'm looking at items that I buy repeatedly and stocking up now. There's no telling what the costs will be under Trump's economy. Just a thought

In Texas, 945,000 construction workers are migrants, that's roughly 23.3% of the construction work force. Think about that housing costs start to go up and lead times for new houses starts added months and months to completion dates.

Hello to all my new friends. I migrated from not twitter today and have been off social media for since the election. The election hit me harder than I thought it would. I still find it hard to believe that that Kamala lost all the battleground states.
