That second pic was supposed to be animated. I often forget that you have to post GIFs as video for them to play in-line.

Ah..Smartmedia. I still have several devices around that use it. One I have at hand is my original Fuji MX-1200. I bought this particular one in late January of 2000 at the nearby Walmart.I remember the date well, because it was my daughters 7th birthday and I bought it to take pictures on that day.

I was able to get Syncterm to compile on it and take it BBSing.
Compiling Syncterm was actually pretty easy.
Figuring out the combination of qualifiers I had to launch it with to get it to work on the weird screen resolution was a lot harder. But I eventually figured it out.

My score on the Intellivision version last night.
I don't remember if there's parity between the scoring on the different versions, but it seems like they are pretty much the same that way.
