First call of the 2nd shift of the week, and after I took a blanket out of its plastic bag for the patient, I had a nice pantomime of placing the bag over my head to suffocate, so it's going well.

Sitting here doing my PCR, wishing I could somehow make it so a couple of grieving parents won't get an ambulance bill for the baby we couldn't save. Fuck the American healthcare system.
