I met Sen Durbin yearly at the Paul H. Douglas Award ceremonies & multiple times as a volunteer lobbyist working with Illinois leadership to support higher education funding for the U of I while living in D.C. for 30+ years. I have lost all confidence in his leadership & commitment to democracy.

Our biggest problem is too many attorneys in Congress. We need engineers, physicians, teachers/professors, social workers, etc.

They are using the same cargo bikes in Paris. Everything is being delivered by push cart, bike, and cargo bike. Trucks are delivering to the main post offices.

Private companies, there are loan programs for co-owners/syndics. There is not a capital reserve fund mindset here, so costs can't be spread over a few years. You need to have liquid co-owners. Well run buildings should be ok, but when you are on the hook for 7.3% it does add up.
