If I never reblog this once a year, assume I'm not well 😂

Ridge Racer V rekindled my enjoyment for racing games. This was before companies licensed their vehicles likeness to be used in games, so I remember beating this game in a "Kamata" [it was a Mini]. It was really fun to drift in the cars while listening to city pop. You can also unlock Pac Man 😊.

This is a childhood favorite of mine. It takes all the stuff that made the original great, and improves upon it. It's what you expect out of any beat 'em up: Non stop action, a great soundtrack, and challenging bosses. Its only flaw is that there is friendly fire 😅.

This one is an indie darling if I have anything to say about it. A real gem that I played on my own, and was genuinely surprised in the best way. You play as the nephew of a famous folk musician, and on the anniversary of your uncle's album release, you embark on a life's journey of your own. 1/2

Here's the deal, if you had an N64, and were a wrestling fan, you had AT LEAST one of the many N64 wrestling titles. WM2000 is the peak of that, in my opinion. It had all the great things that made an arcade wrestling game memorable, without watering down anything. 1/2

While again, not the first Metal Gear I've played, MGS3 is the first one that made the series make sense to me, and really piqued my interest in stealth focused gameplay. I appreciated the additions of a survival element, where you had to capture prey in order to keep your stamina up. 1/2

While this title gets a lot of heat for its initial launch, AC Unity is one of my favorites in the series, before the RPG overhaul. It takes place during the French Revolution. This title had fairly solid writing, but I argue that it has the most fluid parkour mechanics. 1/2

I'll start with my oldest favorite; Final Fantasy VI. While this wasn't the first FF I've played, it was the first I finished. It has brilliant writing, the largest cast of playable characters, a striking art style, and a soundtrack I think about almost daily. Not to mention a particular cackle...

Can't say I've done too many of these. Let's give it a whirl!
