I do hate him and when he dies I will celebrate like I’ve never celebrated before.

At primary school in the 70s we had the best cook in our cafeteria. Every day we’d have the most amazing hot puddings that were made from scratch. I’m always down for this type of recipe. Can’t wait to see you on GBBO.

People will do just about anything for an upgrade to Mint.

We just stopped in and bought some cassoulet beans and Spanish lentils. They’re usually really had to find.

I think Ghislaine Maxwell being a mod on Reddit was debunked.

I wish @onemileatatime.com would ditch Twitter (I refuse to use the new name). It would even be an improvement if he’d use BlueSky screenshots instead of Twitter screenshots when he’s quoting @xjonnyc.bsky.social in his posts.

I used to be Helena Bonham Carter’s neighbor in West Hampstead back in the early nineties. Let’s just say there was plenty of drama when she had an affair with Kenneth Branagh.

They had my mom do the translation. She just adds an O to the end of each English word and thinks that’s Spanish.

So many of those types around here in the San Francisco area. They are insufferable.

Jet2 have operated to JFK for Christmas shopping trips in previous years. Back when people shopped at bricks and mortar stores.

How dare you open a window and let the heat out!

The house I grew up in was a terrace from 1909. The walls were wet to touch. My mums house was built in the 1960s and she is in a constant struggle with damp walls. She’s had a damp course done and new silicone render but still struggling.

One thing I don’t miss about living in the UK is damp walls.

I didn’t know he was one of the “men’s rights” types. He makes some sensible points though about regaining autonomy and letting go. You’re right, there are probably better sources out there. There are lots of these nutters praying on vulnerable newly divorced guys with an anti-woman agenda.

He’s right. This was basically how I became happy again - by letting go.

My new partner said it’s like a tug of war with each person pulling on a rope. Eventually it’s easier to just let go of the rope and walk away. She would see me getting upset and remind me “let go of the rope.”

I’m two episodes into Steal. So far it’s very good.

I love that she replies to mine and other people’s comments on her posts here on BlueSky. I hope she is still able to find the time for that.
