I'm losing count of how many TV show are advertising that they are the "#1 show on television." Can't we just give them all a Popsicle and tell them, "You're all #1."

I just read that one of the main actors on one of CBS's shows was immediately fired for allegedly sexually assaulting a costar. On a positive note, he could still run as a MAGA candidate in the next presidential election.

One of the first thing to keep in mind when trying to understand Scripture is: A text cannot mean what it never meant.

I'm getting frustrated over on FB trying to explain to a guy that the term Immaculate Conception has to do specifically with the Catholic teaching that Mary was conceived without original sin. He is misapplying it to the conception of Jesus. He thinks I'm the idiot in the room.
