I'm thinking his "presidency" is feeling as long to him as it is to us. Ten months feels like fifty years in the Drumpf dark timeline.

Thirty paintings created by the bushy-haired, soft-spoken Bob Ross will soon be up for auction to defray the costs of programming for small and rural public television stations suffering under cuts in federal funding. https://to.pbs.org/4nEQMrw

All profits will help public TV stations with licensing fees for popular programs that include "The Best of Joy of Painting" and "America's Test Kitchen."

IF we can gin up enough interest in this over this month, we can probably launch this campaign in November. However, if it's still looking a bit slim, we'll probably hold off on this until the new year.
So, help me spread the news!

I remember these and how much they made me laugh. Great, great stuff.

As the people who insist otherwise try to burn the country, it's important to affirm that immigrants, from everywhere, are awesome, and America is better the more immigrants we have. You have to be just empty and vapid and unimaginably small to reject that.

But that's kind of...less fun? It's always neat to see other heroes pop in every once in a while... even if it doesn't make sense.
parttimefanboy.bsky.social
Sure but my little quip was meant to say where's the fun in that? Fans love to see the characters meet. That's part of what made the whole original Marvel universe so charming...that Spidey could bump into the Human Torch or whatever. Sure, Capt. Marvel could be isolated in his own city or book...

difference does it make if it's a shared or different universe? If a writer wants Captain Marvel to meet Superman and everyone at the company is fine with it, the writer will figure out a way that maybe, kind of makes sense, right? Maybe I'm misunderstanding the thread here?

No, I was addressing the not calling in the Justice League. They don't have to be regulars but fans/kids used to love them or members popping in every once in a while...which does happen in Batman comics from time to time. And you just stated writers do what they feel like doing...what...

Takes one to know one, I guess...

Just going out on a limb that you and Miss Swift don't hang out in the same professional circles though...😉

It's what I was hoping Biden was going to do but-alas-it was not to be. Liberal politicians need to govern like it's a temp job. Realize you're on a limited time schedule and get as much stuff done in the time you have in your first term and hope people get inspired by your work to keep you on.
