This is the original. Aside from nostalgia bias, the reason I vastly prefer it to the remake is
You can point to almost every part of it and explain why it looks the way it does.
Remake? Fuck if I know, it just looks like something my cat would vomit up.

The funny thing is when I first tried playing the game over thanksgiving break like 3 or so years ago, it frustrated me SO much that I snatched the disc out the console and broke it in half to make sure I didn't give into the "Well it sucks but I gotta see it through..." urge

I did not. Even had I been able to, I probably wouldn't have gone back to fight it. I just did not find the game all that engaging or enjoyable

I actually think Leon is the only interesting member of the old guard, especially considering how the REmakes have handled him, so I don't really have a problem him being here. It's just...yeah the implementation

I guarantee that when it comes out, there are going to be a LOT of reviews, user and journo, that’ll be like “man Leon’s gameplay was a blast! And every time it switched to Grace, I found myself just waiting for it to switch back” and vice versa

Yeah, Leon's segments see to play like an extension of RE4R, with melee prompts and extensive arsenal, while Grace's seem more in line with RE7 or RE2R, more horror focused "pick your fights" gameplay

Supergroupies did RE watches a few years ago and those were only 200 bucks and they at least had the character names and organizations they worked for engraved on em. Jesus christ
