yeah, at pas's size they're starting to brush up against the walls here... Most door's theyre ment to pass through have been replaced with wider ones, but widening a hallway on a construction like this would prove to be more difficult... They might be outgrowing their home soon, behehe

this is a good idea for like a comic i think... setting in the same hallway and all. Something i think about a lot is the wear and tear of a home, like creaking floorboards down to the paint wearing down where your sides meet the walls...

yeah thats the thing is that i get too caught up in "this needs to be worth looking at" over me doing the amount of work i agreed to be paid for. I'm not disappointed in these works but they do take longer and make me crunch harder and leave me with less time for personal projects

falling for these but especially that last point, i keep getting caught up in feeling like things need a fully realized background or like some kind of grounding, and it always means i put in way more work than i initially agreed on

yeah thats the impression i got too, that this is gonna completely alienate people who arnt already fans. I could only appreciate all the wack ass shit john does while he talks with his friends because i know how that played out in the comic. if its picked up they need a 21 minute timeslot

the homestuck pilot was like, not awful, but it wasnt amazing. It was kinda blisteringly fast, but i think they handled the timeslot well by having conversations happen as plot beats from the comic play out. i just feel like the only one they characterized well was rose, the others were just off
